This 7,000-sf clinic won a NWAIA Award for its creative and functional design. Though primarily wood framed to keep costs low, structural steel elements were combined in key locations. These components allowed for long clerestory window bands, thin profile canopies and roof edges, and uncluttered interior spaces. Steel moment frames and wood shearwalls were used in tandem for the seismic system.
